Does your Meccano, 10-in-1 Racing Vehicles STEM Model Building Kit with 225 Parts and Real Tools, Kids Toys for Ages 8 and Up come with instructions in Spanish? I'm friends with a family of recently-arrived Colombian refugees, and their son speaks and reads only Spanish. His birthday comes up in June and I'd like to give him this Meccano set.

I have a very comprehensive Meccano set dating from the 1950's contained in its own four drawer wooden cabinet. Many of the nuts, bolts and smaller parts are stored within tins dating from the same period. clockwork and electric motor and hornby/meccano transformer with period plug. I am seeking advice from knowledgeable person and considering a possible sale.

Last year I inherited from the friend of a distant relative, a large set which is made up of almost entirely high quality stainless steel parts. I haven't seen anything like this before so was wondering if there was any history behind this particular set.

First Meccano set was a #5 as a Christmas present in 1947.
1st model was built that day with a lot of help from Dad, which was the Derrick Crane (5.20). Plates blue with sharp corners !! I now have a grandson(5) & a collection of parts and we have had a go at some small models together.
He likes it more than Lego, and from Timothy, I got instructions for sets 1,2&3, but his site no longer seems to work ?? and grandson wants instruction for set #4.
Help !!

:!happy:
